In collaboration with WWF, the Department of Botany , Zoology and Microbiology,St. Mary’s College, Thrissur organized a Know your Plastic Workshop on the topic ‘Tide Turners Plastic Challenge’ on 8/2/2024. Anusreehda SS , Project Officer , WWF, Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Meena K Cheruvathur, Dr. Manju Madhavan, HOD, Department of Botany, Dr. Dalie Dominic, HOD, Department of Zoology and Dr. Dhanya KC, HOD, Department of Microbiology, graced the inaugural session. The first session was headed by Anusreehda SS, Project Officer , WWF on the theme of the importance of beating the plastic pollution to save the oceanic creatures and in the second session Anu VN, Coordinator WWF conducted a plastic challenge programme for the students.
